We’re proud to share that as of December 10th, Rowen Parkway West, Foundation Drive and Rowen Way are officially open to the public!

Thank you to Gwinnett County for your partnership in completing the ownership transfer to allow the public use of more than two miles of green roads and pedestrian- and bike-friendly pathways.

With this announcement, Rowen’s initial roads, sidewalks and utilities are officially complete. Phase 1 of the project delivered a foundational layer of Rowen’s “complete streets” infrastructure – planned to prioritize safety, accessibility and long-term sustainability for everyone who will live, learn, work and gather at our knowledge community.

Combined with the recent announcement of the Rowen Convergence Center, we are proud to reinforce our commitment to advancing economic opportunity in the Rowen Region. Our miles of complete streets with adjacent greenspaces – designed to minimize water runoff and slow traffic – are a vital first step. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re laying the groundwork for the Rowen Village and the future partners who will help bring Rowen’s mission to life at scale.

We’re grateful to the community and our public partners for staying engaged throughout this process. We look forward to sharing more progress in the year ahead as momentum continues to build across the site.
