Rowen in the Media

Governor Brian P. Kemp’s proposed budget for the Amended Fiscal Year 2025 (AFY25) and Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26) includes several measures that impact economic development in Georgia.

  • $100 million of the governor’s hurricane relief is allocated to financial relief for the agricultural and timber industries. Agriculture is the cornerstone of Georgia’s economy and one of Rowen’s key industries.
  • $1.1 billion for community-level infrastructure projects across the state, which is essential as Rowen partners across Georgia with industry and higher education institutions.
  • Plans to reduce the corporate income tax rate from 5.39% to 5.19%, which will make doing business at Rowen that much easier allowing industry to invest and thrive.
  • More than $1 billion to support students at every stage of education, including workforce development programs to ensure Georgia’s talent is prepared for the demands of a growing economy.

These measures ultimately aim to create a resilient and prosperous economy for Georgia, setting Rowen up for success as we engage with prospective business clients.
